VAC Spotter's Guide to Discontinued Models... (updated 28 February 2006)

Briefly, VAC started in 1990 with the PA45/60/90 family of modular amplifiers, which continued through 1998. Our first preamplifer, the CPA1, joined in 1991 and stayed for a decade. The Vintage Series and later 20 Series were the affordable lines from 1992-2000. The legendary Renaissance Series (and Signature Series derivatives) of triode amplifiers began in 1993 and continue to this day. The current Standard Series began in 1998 and the current Phi Series debuted in 2002. We manufactured the Marantz Classic series from 1995-1998. Discover more in the tables below...
