The VAC Phi Alpha 160 Musicbloc™ is a more affordable embodiment of the circuits & technologies used in our Phi 300.1. Using four beam power output tubes and a low-mu octal driver, it possesses an uncanny ability to reveal every nuance in a recording, while preserving the emotion and feel necessary for a truly musical performance. In addition, the Phi Alpha Musicbloc has great power, impact, and control. This remarkable overall character makes it suitable for use with highly efficient or highly demanding loudspeakers. Features include XLR balanced input, Cardas Rhodium RCA input jack & binding posts, rigid non-magnetic 6.35 mm machined chassis, lacquered 25 mm fascia, taps for 2, 4, and 8 ohm speakers, and front panel meter & controls for easy optimization. Surpassed only by the Phi 300.1.
